Internet Governance and Libya

After years of building local tech communities, I was excited to participate in Hexa Connection's Hangouts and deliver a session on Internet Governance. I introduced the topic and discussed the Libyan position on it, sharing some practices from around the world that could be implemented in Libya.

With over 300 views on social media lives, I believe that there is a strong interest in this topic in Libya. I believe that we can build a task force focused on tech-oriented policies and Internet Governance in the country. It's a journey that requires persistence and dedication, but I believe that it's a journey worth taking.

The Internet plays an increasingly important role in our lives and it is crucial that we have a clear understanding of how it is governed. By building a task force focused on Internet Governance in Libya, we can help to ensure that the internet remains a safe and open space for all.
