North Africa School of Internet Governance 2021

Last week, I had the opportunity to participate in the North Africa School of Internet Governance (NASIG) and the North Africa Internet Governance Forum (NAIGF). It was a full three days of passion and knowledge-sharing as we discussed internet governance matters in North Africa and the current regional efforts.

The main purpose of the NAIGF is to create a public platform for the discussion of government policies regarding internet governance in North African countries. The Forum addressed a range of issues, including cybersecurity, internet freedom and regulation, the development of the DNS industry, and access to the internet, as well as global and national approaches to internet governance.

I am always happy to discuss internet governance and the current situation in Libya. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about these topics, please don't hesitate to reach out.
