Secure e-Governance Tallinn 2020

Last week, I had the privilege of completing a full-time course on Secure e-Governance, organized by EIT Digital Summer School and Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in Estonia. The course offered a unique blend of interoperability between different domains such as legislation, IT, security, business, design thinking, and engineering.

The main focus of the course was introducing e-society development from the government level, with a particular emphasis on the core of digital transformation in the public sector using a problem-based learning approach.

Over the course of two weeks, I worked alongside participants from around the globe on a project to digitize crisis management. We developed a two-way communication solution between the government and local authorities on one side, and citizens on the other, with the goal of increasing emergency response efficiency and preventing fake news and misleading information.

I am grateful to all of the organizers and the Estonian online hospitality for this valuable and enriching experience.
